A Woman of Noble Character, 2020 Edition; Proverbs 31

Who can find a virtuous and capable woman in a pandemic? She is more precious than gold.

Her husband can trust her, and she will greatly enrich his life.

She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.

She finds her children’s school assignments and carefully reviews it with them.

She is like a merchant’s ship, ordering her supplies from afar. (Thanks Amazon Prime) she fears no food shortage, her pantry is full.

She gets up before dawn to prepare breakfast for her household and plan the day’s activities for her family.

She’s does careful research before investing in the stock market, with her earnings she plants a garden.

She is energetic and strong, a hard worker.

She’s not afraid to purchase large quantities of chicken offered by local poultry growers; her lamp burns late into the night. No one goes hungry on her watch

Her hands are busy with quarantine projects, her fingers aren’t afraid to try something new. (Like learning a new crochet pattern)

She extends a helping hand to the poor at the food pantry; notices and befriends the one who needs encouragement; and opens her arms to make masks for the needy.

She has no fear of the May winter for her household, for everyone has warm clothes;the most vulnerable plants in her garden are covered; and she trusts in God to protect the rest.

She makes her own bedspreads. She dresses in fine linen and purple gowns although all social events are canceled.

Her husband is well known in the town, even when social distancing keeps him away.

She keeps an eye on Facebook Marketplace when the options for thrifting and yardsaling for her children’s clothes aren’t possible this year. She makes belted linen garments and sashes for her family, they dress well.

She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she shrugs at the conspiracy theories around her; laughs without fear of the future.

When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. Her life is full of peace.

She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness.

Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her:

“There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!”

Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the LORD will be greatly praised.

Reward her for all she has done. Let her deeds publicly declare her praise

Happy Mother’s Day Weekend to the numerous ladies who’ve blessed my life, but especially my darling Mother- I’m so thankful for you ❤️
